We didn't even know it was coming. We felt the trailer move a bit, about 7pm on Thursday. I went outside to see what's up... The DNR is driving through the campground with his siren lights on, and shouting over through the loud speaker, "NOW IS THE TIME TO SEEK SHELTER! SHELTER NOW!"
Panic mode instantly! we were able to grab the dogs, and run like mad. Running with Crickett is not easy, but we were glad to have her. She pretty much pulls us, so really, we were running like mad.
Into the G.H. Water System Building, along with TONS of other people, and their dogs. We found a seat, after our dogs attached all the others, and freaked out. We didn't have time to think much before then. So, what's we sat down the tears were flowing. Ali didn't "want to do this again, I hate straight winds. Where is Grandpa?" Me, I'm just shaking like crazy, as always, and trying to calm my daughter down.
Finally Nick came and found us in the building, he was at a friend's house in G.H., and pretty much laughed at our hysterical selves. Ali and I kept saying, "We went through it before...!"
30 minutes later we were able to leave the Water Building, as always, it blew over! No big deal! Yea, that's right... No big deal.
Water Spout Clouds
Storm Clouds
Sure enough...it Blew Over!
