Well... Okay!

My first AND last entry has failed. So, here I am! There are just so many exciting things going on, I thought it may be time to blog. I'm hoping someone comes and at least reads this.

Update: "It's the Final Countdown!" Yes, 3 full days and 2 half days of school left. Honestly, this year flew. Of course, I still hate my job.
Thank God for summer! Let the Camping Season Begin!

Ali and I are both ready for some major relaxation time. I've just completed my 2nd year teaching 5th grade, Language Arts and Social Studies. What a joy this year as been. Not really. The office staff was talking about scheduling next year, and since I am moving to 6th grade, teaching the same subjects, they commented on making my class a "loopey." As they laughed, I laughed. Having no idea what a "loopey" is... Well, I will NOT be doing a "loopey," as that means all my students from this school year are placed in my classroom next year. NOT even funny! No "loopeys" here.
Ali... my daughter I bore 13 years ago. Mmmm... another joy in my life. Sometimes. How can one prepare for a teenager? Lord, help me! In 5 days, she will be an 8th grader, then a year later, she will be a FRESHMAN in high school. I have never prayed to God so much in my life... and she still thinks I am "trying to ruin her life!"
